The True TUC-27-HC undercounter refrigerator has a rear-accessible refrigeration system. Temperatures range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, and cold air is kept inside with polyurethane insulation. Magnetic gaskets on the doors also retain cold air. When the compressor cycles on, its fan motor runs in reverse for 30 seconds to blow dirt and dust off the condenser coil. This function enhances efficiency, reduces energy consumption, and lengthens the unit's overall lifespan. To maintain optimal performance, however, routine preventive maintenance is still necessary. The door closes by itself under 90 degrees to prevent warm air from getting inside the cacompartmentet. Past 90 degrees, the door stays open for cleaning, loading, and unloading.
