The Scotsman MC0530MA-1Prodigy ELITE® ice machine head can make 525 lbs ice each day. It makes full dice ice, which spans 7/8 inch by 7/8 inch by 7/8 inch. Since this ice type is large and slow melting, it is perfect for drinks in bars. This unit is air cooled, using fans to blow cold air over the condenser and cool the refrigerant in the tubes so it can freeze water in the evaporator plate. LED indicator lights illuminate the front panel to alert the user of the operating status and show descaling and sanitizing reminders. Operators can scan the QR code to get an instant connection to warranty history and servicing information. Operators can use Scotsman’s ICELINQ® mobile application to check the machine dashboard information, adjust the controls, and walk through a step-by-step guided cleaning process. Because the Scotsman C0530MA-1 ice maker has a button that starts the cleaning process, maintaining the unit is simple and intuitive. An antimicrobial agent is built into the internal components to protect them from scale, mold, and bacteria between cleanings. To reduce scale buildup, the unit automatically adjusts the facility's water quality. Users can access the interior behind a removable front panel that self-aligns into position.
