For added durability, the unit's exterior is made of stainless steel except for the aluminum back, and the three wire storage shelves are protected by PVC coating. Because it's mounted on casters, it can be relocated with minimal strain. With the use of solid-state controls, the temperature in the MoTak MWF-60 worktop freezer can be adjusted from -7 to -1 degrees Fahrenheit, while the level is displayed on the digital screen for monitoring purposes. If an employee walks away and forgets to close one of the doors, it closes on its own to save energy. If the doors are pushed open farther than 90 degrees, they stay open to streamline loading and unloading.
