In one day of ideal conditions, the Hoshizaki KM-660MAJ ice maker head can generate 665 lbs ice. However, if the ambient air temperature is higher than 70 degrees Fahrenheit—or the incoming water is higher than 50 degrees—it will produce less. The ice machine's CycleSaver™ design and double-sided evaporator enable it to create many crescent cubes in a single cycle, reducing yearly cycles and saving energy and water for operators. This machine runs reliably because it detects environment changes automatically, while its EverCheck™ alert system notifies users and service technicians of issues requiring maintenance. This Hoshizaki KM-660MAJ ice machine head has an air cooling condenser that uses R404A refrigerant to freeze cubes. Its fans require 6" of clearance on the rear, sides, and top for proper airflow; for longevity, its air filters can be cleaned and reused. Panels are removable for interior component access and parts snap out of place for cleaning.
