Hoshizaki BD-500SF 30" Ice Bin - 500 lbs
The front-opening door on the Hoshizaki BD-500SF ice compartment delivers access to as much as 500 lbs ice. It is insulated with polyurethane to prevent ice from melting, and it's lined with polyethylene to ensure ice tastes fresh and clean. To keep an ice maker close to the compartment, a 24- to 241⁄2"-deep machine can be installed on top of the unit. The exterior of the compartment is made of stainless steel, a material that prevents rust, denting, and scratching in high-volume environments. The Hoshizaki BD-500SF ice compartment comes with a scoop to facilitate retrieval of ice. The scoop and compartment are protected with H-GUARD Plus® antimicrobial to slow the growth of bacteria and reduce the spread of germs. Because the compartment is mounted on painted legs, employees can sweep underneath the unit without having to pull it out from where it's installed. Note: Does not produce ice.
