The Hoshizaki AM-50BAJ undercounter ice maker can produce as much as 51 lbs of top hat ice each day. This amount depends on ambient air temperature and incoming water temperature—the lower they are, the more ice the machine makes. To create ice cubes, its air cooling condenser uses R134A refrigerant. Airflow is provided in and out of the front of the unit for consistent operation. Because this integrated unit offers an air cooling condenser and few moving parts, it can run for a long time. When staff are cleaning the Hoshizaki AM-50BAJ undercounter ice maker, the water circuit can be disassembled. The storage compartment can hold as much as 22 lbs ice while waiting for use. Including an easily accessible power switch, this unit can be operated without removing the panel.
