Standing 323/8" tall, the Summit BIM44GADA undercounter ice maker can fit underneath ADA-compliant counters, and waste water is removed from the unit by a drain pump, which pushes the liquid up and out a drain line. This design enables the unit to be installed away from the floor drain without problems. To further increase flexibility, the unit's door can be reversed to open from either side, so it can fit in tight places and corners. This Summit BIM44GADA ice machine makes 3⁄4" by 3⁄4" by 1" full cube ice, which can be used in many kinds of drinks. Meaning 25 lbs can be stored in the compartment, this ice melts slowly, and to further lengthen hold times, the compartment is insulated, keeping out warm ambient air. The refrigeration system cools water into ice with R134A refrigerant, and it defrosts itself automatically to reduce maintenance needs.
