The Scotsman MC1448SA-32 Prodigy ELITE® cube ice machine head delivers a maximum daily ice production of 1,553 lbs. The stainless steel exterior is durable and corrosion resistant, while the interior has a WaterSense feature that helps protect against scale buildup. To slow bacterial growth between cleanings, an antimicrobial has been applied to the interior. Furthermore, this unit is designed to facilitate cleaning and maintenance with a self-aligning front panel and one-touch cleaning function. Indicator lights on the front of the unit are part of the AutoAlert™ system that informs operators of any maintenance needs. Ice compartments are sold separately from the ice machine head, but this machine is compatible with a variety of Scotsman ice compartments. For effective transportation from the machine to the compartment, the Scotsman MC1448SA-32 ice machine head uses Harvest Assist for easy access to scoop ice. Fitting on top of a storage compartment, it has a 48"-wide by 24"-deep by 29"-high structure. A front air filter helps reduce exterior moisture and condensation buildup, providing a convenient location for general filter maintenance. Overall, the unit works best in air temperatures from 50 degrees Fahrenheit to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
