Under ideal conditions, the Scotsman MC0330SA-1 Prodigy ELITE® ice machine head can produce 400 lbs of half dice ice per day for a restaurant or bar. To keep ice tasting fresh, surfaces are antimicrobial protected, slowing the growth of slime, mold, and bacteria. This unit creates small cubes that pack tightly into a glass, cutting down on drink costs. Cubes form in the evaporator grid as water runs over it, and when they are fully formed, a pin pushes through the evaporator plate so that the cubes fall. Typically, this unit is paired with an ice compartment where cubes can be saved for later use. This air cooling model features AutoAlert™ indicator lights to keep the user informed about its operating status. It also indicates when the machine needs sanitizing, descaling, or servicing. With WaterSense purge control technology, scale buildup is reduced to extend time between cleanings. Internal components are accessible through the removable front panel. Operators can use a mobile app to connect to the machine’s dashboard information, access ice harvest and purge controls, and use the step-by-step cleaning guide.
