The Scotsman HID312AX-1 Meridian countertop ice dispenser generates nugget ice, creating as much as 260 lbs every day. Since it poses less of a choking hazard to patients than traditional cube ice, this type of ice is popular in hospitals and nursing homes as well as restaurants. The touchless operation offered by this model is beneficial in a busy kitchen or at a crowded nurse's station, and the large dispensing area accommodates tall cups. This model also dispenses water for one-stop convenience. To keep up with high demand, the storage compartment can hold 12 lbs ice. The Scotsman HID312AX-1 Meridian countertop ice dispenser has several features for cleanup and maintenance. Its drip tray is large, has a built-in drain, and is completely removable for cleaning. Along with a storage compartment, the unit's removable air filter is located on the outside of the machine and can be accessed by opening the front panels.
