Depending on the ambient air and water temperatures, it generates 49 to 65 lbs ice in a daily period, and its compartment holds as much as 26 lbs. Since it enables the ice maker to have inactive periods, the compartment helps keep up with demand during peak hours and reduces stress on the system. Since it is 15" wide, the Scotsman CU50PA-1 undercounter ice machine fits in space-saving spaces. Its control panel alerts users when cleanings are needed, helping keep ice fresh.
