Using environmentally friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant, this unit keeps internal temperatures between -10 and 12 degrees Fahrenheit. This level can be monitored and controlled digitally by the user, and if the temperature leaves the ideal range, the unit will alert users both audibly and visibly. Avoiding dust and debris, the Hoshizaki F1A-FSL one-section reach-in freezer's refrigeration system is top mounted and sucks in air near the top to protect its main components. To minimize maintenance needs, the evaporator coils use epoxy coating for shielding from rust. The door on this unit self-closes and offers a convenient stay-open feature to facilitate loading and unloading the freezer.
